Moncler is a brand originally established at high altitude which now boasts a presence in all of the world’s most important cities, and most exclusive ski resorts. Vancouver is a city known for it’s skiing, lodge and spa culture, and for those who insist on taking it to the extremes, Moncler is the label you source.
It is without a doubt that such a gorgeous invitation to a private opening sets the tone for the evening.
A large window marks the entrance to the new store on Thurlow Street, also known as the ‘Luxury Zone‘ of Vancouver, a first-class destination for luxury shopping in the city. The premises are true to the Moncler code of sourcing the highest quality materials and we were stunned with the detailing of the embossing within the womens collectionand the creativity with the Thom Browne line of outerwear in grey wool.
The result is a unique interior, with elegant French wood panelling in chêne fumé wood and grigio carnico marble inserts used for the floors and walls which adds movement to the space. The interior has once again been entrusted to Gilles & Boissier, an architecture studio which has worked alongside the brand for many years.
A complete range of product is offered in the new boutique, with the Moncler Gamme Bleu and Moncler Gamme Rouge collections featured alongside the men’s and women’s Moncler and Moncler Grenoble ready-to-wear and accessory collections.
Moncler is located at 743 Thurlow Street and regular hours are available through their website.
